APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

(*) GRE not required for Master’s programs with and without thesis for International applicants.

I. Degree in a four-year bachelor program for the master program applicants; and master with thesis degree for the PhD program applicants

II. Degree in a four-year bachelor program in Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Agriculture, Architecture and Science, Departments of Science and Literature Faculties

III. Degree in a four-year bachelor program in Interior Architecture, Architecture, City and Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture and Industrial Design for the master program applicants

IV. Degree in a four-year bachelor program in all Engineering programs

V. Degree in a four-year bachelor program in City and Regional Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geology/Geomatics Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration and Political Science, Sociology

VI. Degree in a four-year bachelor program in all departments of Engineering and Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biological  Sciences, Molecular Biology and Genetics Departments of Faculty of Arts and Sciences

VII. For master program, degree in a four-year bachelor program in Interior Architecture, Architecture, City and Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, and Industrial Design.

         For PhD program, degree in a four-year bachelor program or master degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, City and Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, and Industrial Design.

VIII. Degree in bachelor program in related departments of Architecture and Interior Architecture

IX. Degree in bachelor program in Civil Engineering

X. Degree in a four-year bachelor program City and Regional Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, Economics, Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, Civil Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineering, and Geography

XI. Degree in a four-year bachelor program in all departments of Engineering Faculty, Faculty of Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Statistics departments of Faculty of Arts and Sciences, all departments of Faculties of Architecture, all departments of Technical Education Faculties, Labor Law departments of Faculty of Law.

XII. Degree in a four-year bachelor program in Mathematics, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Mathematics Engineering programs

 

(**) Foreign language is not required for Master’s programs in Turkish but it is a prerequisite for Master’s programs in English, and Ph.D. programs. Minimum required scores for English are in terms of YDS exam. Equivalent scores from following exams are also acceptable: YÖKDİL, TOEFL, UDS, TOEFL IBT, CAE, CPE, and PEARSON PTE Academic. The English proficiency exam held by Çankaya University is also accepted for Master’s programs and Çankaya Graduates from undergraduate programs in English are exempt from English requirement.

 APPLICATIONS WILL BE MADE THROUGH ON-LINE SYSTEM ( http://onbasvuru.cankaya.edu.tr/)  DOCUMENTS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE UPLOADED ARE:

1-         Official transcript (undergraduate transcript for Master’s, both undergraduate and master’s transcripts for Ph.D. programs)

2-         GRE result certificate (GRE exam is valid for 5 years. certificates after July 22, 2014 will be considered).

3-         English exam result certificate (valid for 5 years, certificates after July 22, 2014 will be considered. There is no time limitation for Turkish Ph.D. programs).

4-         The bank receipt of application fee of 145 $ that must be paid to the following bank account: Vakıfbank Meşrutiyet Branch TR 2800 0150 0158 0072 6042 9262.

5-         CV, letter of intent and two reference letters for all Ph.D. (to be submitted during interview)
